Yesterday was one of the most fun days I have had in awhile.
Jentine and I have been blogging friends for about three years now, and yesterday we finally had the chance to meet in person. Jentine was in Grand Rapids for her brother's graduation and I drove up to meet her for a day of thrift and consignment shopping. We both are huge thrifters and have great thrifting skills/luck so I was really excited to see what would happen when our powers combined ;) Well, let me tell you, magic happened! The first store we hit up was the Grand Rapids Salvation Army. As soon as we walked in we were handed little plastic bags. I had no idea why, until I saw the tables and tables laid out with jewelry. Unbeknownst to us, the store was having their annual jewelry sale!

Jentine and I dug right in and we both found some great pieces (check out
her blog to see her finds!). I purchased a beaded African collar (shown with a vintage camel blazer I plan to wear as outerwear), a large silver cuff, and a beaded tribal necklace.

I can't wait to hang out with her again. The thrifting awaits!
