Shoes usually aren't my thing, but lately I have been obsessed with them. I found the leopard print heels at Savers and the other pair at Nordstrom Rack on super sale.

Savers Sunday!

Anyways, on Friday I made a quick trip to Savers. There were so many good things! I contemplated buying a Michael Kors trench coat and a vintage Pierre Cardin clutch, but I ended up getting this vintage green leather purse for $6.



And this Mint by Jodi Arnold dress. This find is dedicated to Jentine and her latest blog post. I was looking through the racks of dresses and saw that this one had a pretty steep price tag for Savers. I decided to investigate further and noticed that the dress still had it's original price tag on it. $425!!! What! Now I understood the reason that Savers had marked it so high. I was excited because the dress was exactly my size and will be perfect for the upcoming 2011 wedding season. (so far I have 4 weddings to attend... along with my own) Can't go wrong w/ a classic LBD.

Guess what? After stalking Ebay everyday for a few weeks, I finally found the Kara Ross cuff I had been coveting. It arrived in the mail today and I am so excited. Here are two ways I would love to style it.

I love big, bold jewelry. I usually choose my outfit for the day based on what jewelry I want to wear. Does anyone else do this?

Ok, the madness needs to stop. Why did Savers have to put themselves with-in a 2 min drive of my work?

I found a sweater perfect for Spring (inspiration from here), vintage glasses that I want to make into sunglasses, and a bold bracelet.

I am excited for our wedding, but even more excited for our honeymoon. John and I are going someplace warm, and I cannot wait to soak up some sun and relax. I want to dress easy and breezy. Lots of black dresses at night with bright jewelry and fun bathing suits for day.

Savers Saturday!

This morning Amy and I decided to kick of 2011 with a little bargain shopping. The first place we hit up was Savers. I decided to bring along my camera and show you guys my favorite thrift haunt.

Amy couldn't decide if she wanted the purse or watch. She ended up with the watch.


I bought this crazy one piece bathing suit for my honeymoon. It still has the origination store tags so I know its not a used bathing suit (which is super icky). I know its a bit crazy, but I love it. $6.99.


I love this glass pitcher. I am going to use it as a vase. $4.99.


Vintage gold necklace. $2.99.



We finished up our morning of shopping with a trip to Nordstrom Rack. I preformed a "Closet Consultation" on myself earlier in the week and decided I didn't need any more clothes, but I did need a few pairs of metallic heels for upcoming weddings. I lucked out and found 2 on sale. The first pair looks amazing on... like jewelry for the feet. I love the mirror heel.



Finally, I found these Elizabeth and James wedges for super cheap. LOVE!
