Hey! Sorry I have been MIA. I have been really busy at work this past week and then I was away for Thanksgiving. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Anyways, my very soon to be sister in law works for Monet in NYC and shared some samples with me. The first is a gorgeous bracelet and the second is a necklace that I am wearing as a bracelet. Perfect for the holidays!!!!

Stolen From John's Closet

Yesterday I was bagging up some clothes that John wants to give-away, and I noticed this green J Crew sweater. I decided that if he didn't want it then I would take it ;) I am running some errands this morning so I paired it with some jeans, boots, and some jewelry to keep it comfy and casual. I made the longer necklace from a vintage watch piece and rosary and the shorter necklace I bought at an antique store in MI this past summer.

Savers Sneak Peak

I have been off this past week trying to get some stuff done for my wedding. I managed to sneak in some quick Savers shopping, and I am definitely glad I did. I found this silver glitter clutch that reminds me sooo much of this J Crew one.

The J Crew one is actually not badly priced at $60, but I got mine for $6.99. Savers to the rescue!

I love these two looks from the Lucky October 2010 issue. The first look would fun for a holiday brunch I am going to and the other would be fun for a shopping trip or lunch.

J Crew Sale by BrianneLee featuring j crew tops

I love J Crew, and anytime they have 30% off sale items I usually take advantage of it. Today I ordered a sequin tank and a side zip sweatshirt I had been eying, and my friend Nora ordered this sequin and silk tee (in plum).

Definitely take advantage of the sale if you need to buy some Christmas gifts... for others or for yourself ;)

30th Birthday at Crush

Last night my friends and I headed to Crush Boutique on Charles Street in Boston to celebrate my 30th. We had the whole store to ourselves, and it was such a great time! I decided to wear a sequin Forever 21 skirt, an asymmetrical sweater from Nordstrom Rack, and my vintage mesh collar.

Blowfish

This is one of my fav shower gifts. Its a little Monet trinket box that my future sister in law Anne snuck in with my gift. Inside is a tiny silver trumpet... so cute!

The Red Belt

I have had this black winter jacket for about 6 or 7 years. Its a nice winter jacket, but a bit plain, so I decided to jazz it up. At first I was going to add a vintage fur collar (which I will probably still do... just haven't gotten around to it yet), but I decided to add this vintage red belt while I was in a rush yesterday. The great thing about adding belts to coats is that you can change them up as much as you want to suit your mood and style.




And since people asked, here is a picture of the vintage mesh collar in action. I didn't do anything too crazy with it... just paired it with a crew neck sweater. Any styling tips would be appreciated!
