I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve! John and I did indeed spend a relaxing night at home as predicted. We have been watching old episodes of The Wire and finished up season 2 last night. Did anyone else watch that show?
The weather is kind-of crappy today so I am going to be doing things around the house. This calls for a casual outfit... a thrifted button down top, an asymmetrical sweater from Old Navy, dark jeans, and my Minnetonka moccasins. I of course can't go jewelry-less so I threw on a vintage Egyptian revival necklace I purchased from Brimfield last spring.
Yesterday I tested myself with my shopping budget and I am happy to report that I am sticking to it. I did not buy anything and still have $55 towards my bracelet.
