The $3 Bin

Yesterday my friend Allison and I had some time to kill before I had to pick John up at the airport after a work trip. We decided to go to one of my fav stores Cafe Society in Brookline. I really really need to stop spending money (I really shouldn't have gone shopping at all) so I focused my attention on the $3 bin to see if I could find some inexpensive treasures, and I hit the jackpot: a vintage mustard sweater and a vintage fur collar that adds some detail to my winter jacket.

I also love the details you don't find in modern clothing... the old label on the sweater and the little chain that you use to latch the fur are perfect.

Both pieces are gorgeous! I love the little tag inside the sweater too! I've sometimes been tempted to keep vintage clothes just because the tag is so fun!
