Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery

That is the correct saying, right?

Anyways, I became obsessed with finding a necklace similar to the one worn by the lovely writer of Dirty Hair Halo in this outfit. (BTW, if you don't already read her blog, I recommend checking it out right away... she always comes up the best outfits.)

Her necklace is from Forever 21, but I found a vintage Art Deco version on Ebay. I think I ended up getting it for around $20, which is more than the Forever version, but I can live with it since it is vintage.

Hi BrianneLee!

That necklace is definitely a keeper. It can add glamor to anything you wear it with! And vintage too ... how can you go wrong?!

My ring, however, is not vintage. A good friend of mine gave me the Lapis Lazuli stone from her trip to Mongolia. I just had it set in gold by a jeweler. I was so flattered that you may have thought it to be vintage!?

'eyooooh! Nice find.

I'm so glad to have inspired you, thanks for including me in your post. I like the art deco twist, and it looks like yours is bigger. You know what they say about that.

Gorgeous necklace! I get loads of jewelry from F21, but I absolutely agree with you -- vintage jewelry is definitely better!

I hope you'll post outfits with the necklace! Happy Thursday!
